Still marching? Jump to on-the-ground answers
The march ends, but the movement continues.
What is Hands Off NYC? More than 100 unions, community groups, and faith leaders have joined in solidarity to protect New York City from federal intervention.
We’re building a city-wide network of support: block by block, we’re growing to 3.5% of the city. We’ll train, prepare, and stand together against authoritarianism.
Upcoming Actions
10/23: Immigration Vigil
12 PM to 1 PM at 26 Federal Plaza
Join Rise and Resist for a silent vigil with signs calling out ICE and ICE agents for abducting immigrants.
11/4: Election Protection
As an Election Protection volunteer, you’ll receive thorough training and be part of a team monitoring polling places in vulnerable neighborhoods, ready to help voters and report any issues.
11/15: Day of Community Action
We marched in No Kings, now we organize with our neighbors. On November 15th, join your neighbors for a community for a day of action and solidarity. Events include:
ICE rapid response outreach - flyers, stickers, and posters
Outreach to hungry neighbors - connect with community members facing increased food insecurity because of Trump’s cuts to SNAP
Dance ourselves fascism free - join the move, stay for the party, free music!
Family play-in - connect with families with school age or younger kids at a playground!
And more! Have an idea for a community event? Sign up here and put it on the map!
On November 15th we will take the streets, talk to our neighbors, and make it clear from every borough to every street that masked agents are not welcome here!
Signs of Solidarity
Signs of Solidarity is a nationwide effort to help local businesses take simple, legal, and visible steps to protect workers from ICE and show public support for immigrant neighbors.

March south on 7th Ave from 47th St to 14th St (1.6 miles).
When you reach 14th St, please disperse so the march can keep moving!
-
We start marching at around 11 AM. Once you leave the starting location, marching the whole route takes around an hour and a half.
We go slow on purpose so there are no gaps and no one is left behind.
Because of the pace, It will take time for everyone to leave Father Duffy Square. Don’t worry, everyone will get a chance to march!
-
There are a limited number of free wheelchairs located at care stations along the route, pushed by volunteers.
-
For minor first aid assistance or water (while it lasts), visit a care station at the corner of 7th Ave and the ‘5 and ‘0 streets: 45th, 40th, 35th, 30th, 25th, 20th, and 15th.

Update: Organizers estimate that over 300,000 New Yorkers participated in No Kings today!
We expect today’s event to be even bigger than the first No Kings was in June, but it’s difficult to get an exact count. Expect to hear a wide range of numbers, with the press on the low end and social media on the high end.
The organizers will post their count on this website by the end of the day.
